Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar engaged in a telephonic conversation with Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, to discuss regional developments and bilateral relations.
According to Radio Pakistan, the two ministers emphasized the importance of close consultations on regional matters, including potential collaboration through the Regional Four (R4) Foreign Ministers, which also involves Saudi Arabia and Türkiye. The call served as a platform to review the longstanding ties between Pakistan and Egypt, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to maintaining strong fraternal relations.
Furthermore, the ministers agreed to continue their dialogue and consultation by meeting on the sidelines of the upcoming United Nations General Assembly session in New York.
