Islamabad Police Intensifies Search Operations, Checks Over 475 Individuals


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police conducted extensive search and combing operations across the federal capital, checking more than 475 individuals in an effort to combat crime and apprehend criminal elements. The operations were carried out under the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, and aimed at enhancing security in the city.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were supervised by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by the respective zonal SPs. The comprehensive checks included 145 households, 47 shops, 22 hotels, 248 motorcycles, and 80 vehicles. As a result of these efforts, 19 suspicious individuals and 22 motorcycles were taken to the police station for further verification.



SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza emphasized the importance of these operations in tightening the grip on criminal activities and ensuring heightened security throughout the district. The ongoing actions by the Islamabad Police target criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers, reflecting the police force’s commitment to maintaining law and order in the capital.
