Phnom Penh: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has underscored the necessity for robust parliamentary diplomacy, the impartial application of international law, and the peaceful settlement of conflicts as pivotal measures to ensure peace and collective prosperity.
According to Radio Pakistan, Gilani expressed these views during his address at the General Debate of the 2nd Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC) held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He highlighted Pakistan’s efforts in facilitating dialogue between the United States and Iran as an example of effective diplomacy and emphasized the importance of bridge-building to resolve international differences.
