Islamabad Police Intensifies Search Operations Across Capital

ISLAMABAD: Over 323 individuals and multiple properties were checked in a citywide operation led by the Islamabad Police, aiming to curb criminal activities in the capital.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were conducted following directives from Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The initiative involved thorough searches of 133 households, 30 shops, 170 motorcycles, and 48 vehicles. The operations, supervised by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by respective zonal SPs, resulted in the apprehension of six suspicious individuals and the temporary detention of 18 motorcycles for further verification.

SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza emphasized that these operations are part of a broader effort to enhance security and suppress criminal activities, including targeting land grabbers and drug dealers. The Islamabad Police plans to continue these indiscriminate actions across various districts of the city.
