ISLAMABAD: In a bid to enhance public facilitation, the Islamabad Police have implemented an open-door policy, holding open courts to address citizen grievances. This initiative, led by senior police officials, aims to ensure the prompt resolution of issues raised by the public.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the initiative follows directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, along with SP Saddar Zone Kazim Naqvi, SP City Zone Muhammad Khurram Ashraf, and SP Swan Zone Hasnain Waris, organized these open courts at their respective offices. Citizens were invited to present their complaints directly to these officers, who then instructed the relevant personnel to take necessary legal actions and report back on the progress.

The police officials reiterated their commitment to a zero-tolerance approach toward violence against women and children. They underscored that providing relief to citizens remains a priority and assured that the enforcement of the rule of law is a fundamental principle. The officers also affirmed that each application would be addressed on merit, with the protection of citizens’ lives, property, and dignity being of utmost importance.
