Islamabad: The Islamabad Police has announced a series of intensified measures to combat crime, as senior officers have directed their teams to adopt more effective strategies for maintaining public safety. This development comes as part of a broader effort to enhance law enforcement and ensure the protection of citizens.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, separate crime meetings were conducted under the supervision of SP City Zone, SP Saddar Zone, SP Industrial Area Zone, and SP Swan Zone, with active participation from all SDPOs and SHOs. During these meetings, a thorough review of the current crime situation, crime prevention strategies, and ongoing operations against criminal elements was conducted, focusing on the law and order scenario within their respective areas.

Officers were instructed to apply effective and result-oriented strategies to deter crime, take decisive action against criminal activities, and prioritize the safeguarding of citizens’ lives and property. Enhanced police patrolling, preventive policing, and rapid response to public complaints were emphasized. The officers were also instructed to utilize all available resources to maintain law and order.

Moreover, the officers were urged to improve coordination, maintain vigilance in their respective zones, and ensure the efficient implementation of crime prevention strategies. The administration warned that negligence or dereliction of duty would not be tolerated and stressed the importance of dedication and professionalism in performing their duties.
