ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have arrested six individuals allegedly involved in criminal activities, recovering drugs and weapons from their possession. Authorities have registered cases against the suspects and are continuing their investigation.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the arrests were part of an ongoing crackdown on crime under the direction of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The police seized 570 grams of ice and two pistols with ammunition during the operation.
SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza emphasized the police’s dedication to safeguarding the lives and property of residents, stating that maintaining peace and security is a priority. He encouraged citizens to report suspicious activities to the police or through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15” to aid in crime prevention efforts.
