Ishaq Dar Reviews Implementation of PM’s Nationwide Fuel Relief Scheme


ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the National Steering Committee on Fuel Subsidy was convened in Islamabad to evaluate the progress of the Prime Minister’s Special Relief Scheme, which was launched across the country. The assembly was led by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and focused on assessing various implementation stages of the initiative.



According to Radio Pakistan, the committee examined advancements in the registration process, the redemption of tokens, and the distribution of payments to fuel stations nationwide. During the meeting, Dar called for the establishment of a continuous, round-the-clock mechanism to address complaints and provide technical support to consumers and fuel stations.



Dar emphasized that no citizen with a valid token should be denied access to the fuel relief and stressed the importance of ensuring that the relief reaches the targeted beneficiaries without unnecessary complications.
