Doha: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Commander of the Lakhwiya Internal Security Force, to discuss bilateral cooperation in internal security and regional stability.
According to Press Information Department, the meeting between the two officials focused on enhancing the security partnership between Pakistan and Qatar. Both ministers agreed to strengthen ties and explore opportunities for collaboration in internal security. The discussions also addressed the regional situation and the necessity of promoting peace and stability in the area.
The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to deepen cooperation between their respective Ministries of Interior, emphasizing the importance of mutual efforts in internal security. Minister Naqvi highlighted the ongoing collaboration between Pakistan and Qatar in fostering regional peace, while Sheikh Khalifa underscored the significance of Qatar’s relations with Pakistan.
