Srinagar, Indian police have arrested, today, two youth in Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth identified as Mumtaz Ahmad Lone and Jahangir Ahmad Lone were arrested by the police during a search operation in Bemina area of the city.
The police have claimed that they were carrying arms and ammunition at the time of arrest at the Bemina bypass. This police claim is aimed at justifying the illegal detention.
The police have also registered a case under draconian laws Arms Act and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
