New York: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has underscored the need for climate commitments to yield tangible benefits for communities. Speaking at the high-level Climate Implementation Bridge (BRIDGE) event in New York, Aurangzeb emphasized the importance of translating climate pledges into practical outcomes at the community level.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Finance Minister outlined three essential components for effective implementation of climate initiatives: a robust policy framework, access to financing, and the capacity to execute projects on the ground. Aurangzeb also highlighted the efforts Pakistan has made in advancing its climate policy, including mobilizing financial resources through domestic channels, international financial institutions, capital markets, and climate funds.
