ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi conducted an inspection of the newly established Command, Control, Communication and Coordination Center, focusing on enhancing police response strategies and operational efficiency.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP’s visit included a comprehensive briefing on the center’s advanced monitoring systems, integrated Safe City system, and use of artificial intelligence-based technology. The center is designed to centralize information and operational activities across different police units, facilitating effective monitoring and decision-making.

During the visit, IGP Rizvi emphasized the critical role of modern technology in strengthening the policing framework. He highlighted that the advanced systems at the center would improve supervision of police deployment, coordination among units, and ensure a quicker response to emergencies.

The IGP also noted the significance of utilizing technologies like artificial intelligence to enhance public safety and crime prevention efforts. He reiterated that the modern center would bolster the Islamabad Police’s capabilities in command and monitoring, crucial for coordinating field operations and ensuring prompt police action during emergencies.

IGP Rizvi affirmed that safeguarding citizens’ lives and property remains a top priority for the Islamabad Police. The force is committed to leveraging modern technology, timely information, and available resources to further advance and strengthen its policing system.
