Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has called for enhanced public facilitation and effective field response following visits to key police facilities. The IGP inspected various sections of Secretariat Police Station, Shalimar Police Station, and Capital Patrol Headquarters, assessing citizen services, SIPS initiatives, and administrative arrangements.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, IGP Rizvi evaluated the operations of front desks and other critical areas within the police stations to ensure citizens receive prompt services. He emphasized the importance of addressing citizen issues promptly and improving access to police services.
The IGP also reviewed the activities under the SIPS protocols, focusing on the quality and progress of ongoing initiatives. He instructed officers to adhere to standards and ensure efficient implementation of these projects.
During his visit to Capital Patrol Headquarters, IGP Rizvi assessed operational and administrative functions, as well as development efforts. He directed officers to maintain an active patrolling system and ensure timely responses to citizens’ needs.
IGP Rizvi highlighted enhancing police station facilities and improving the working environment for officers as key priorities. He stressed the implementation of measures that prioritize citizen convenience and the welfare of police personnel, with a focus on timely completion of development projects.
