IGP Islamabad Addresses Police Affairs, Emphasizes Resource Management


ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi convened a meeting to evaluate various aspects of the capital’s police force, focusing on administrative and operational matters, logistics, and manpower. The meeting, attended by top officials including DIG Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq, AIG Logistics Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt, and SSP Investigation Sulaiman Zafar, aimed at reviewing the current state and future needs of the Islamabad Police.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting included briefings on departmental performance, ongoing initiatives, and task progress. Discussions centered on the force’s requirements, logistics, manpower, and operational capacity enhancement. IGP Rizvi highlighted the need for improved administrative systems and effective resource utilization.



He instructed the officers to evaluate the force’s needs and take steps to bolster its operational capabilities. The IGP also emphasized professionalism and coordination in handling police affairs, underlining that resource management is key to improving policing quality.



IGP Rizvi reiterated his commitment to aligning the police systems with modern requirements to enhance the force’s capabilities and ensure better services for citizens.
