IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Provides House to Family of Police Martyr

Lahore, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has taken significant steps for the welfare of the families of police martyrs, recently providing a home worth Rs. 1 crore 35 lakhs to the family of Shaheed Constable Naveed Hanif, who was martyred earlier this year. This gesture is part of ongoing efforts to support the families of police officers who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

According to Punjab Police, Constable Naveed Hanif was martyred by motorcycle-riding robbers in the Manawan police station area on April 21. His family, including his wife Anbreen Ghayas, seven-year-old daughter Marwa Fatima, and mother, were given a house of their choice through funds released by the Punjab government, initiated by IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar’s efforts.

Dr. Anwar paid tribute to Constable Naveed Hanif’s bravery and sacrifice, acknowledging his courageous fight against dangerous robbers. He emphasized that the Punjab Police would never forget the sacrifice of its brave son. Dr. Anwar further stated that the welfare of the families of over 1600 martyrs like Shaheed Constable Naveed Hanif is a top priority for the Punjab Police, and efforts to support them will continue.
