IDAP Board Approves Construction Projects at 79th Meeting


Lahore: The 79th meeting of the Infrastructure Development Authority of Punjab (IDAP) Board, chaired by Provincial Minister for Works & Communications Malik Sohaib Ahmad Bharth, resulted in several key approvals concerning construction projects. Key projects include developments at Film City and residential facilities for doctors at General Hospital Layyah. The meeting also progressed on the procurement of advanced medical equipment for the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research.



According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the meeting involved participation from officers across various departments including Transport, C&W, and P&D. CEO IDAP Captain (Retd.) Shah Mir provided an update on agenda items to the Provincial Minister and board members. The board sanctioned IDAP to serve as the executing agency for the construction of doctors’ accommodation and approved a firm for the procurement of specific medical equipment.



Minister Bharth emphasized the commitment to quality and transparency in development projects, underscoring the government’s priorities of enhancing facilities and ensuring timely project completion. He reiterated the focus on modernizing infrastructure in Punjab through coordinated efforts with relevant institutions.
