New York: Greece has recognized Pakistan’s efforts in fostering regional peace and stability, as noted during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Greece’s Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis. This meeting took place on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly.
According to Radio Pakistan, Foreign Minister Gerapetritis lauded Pakistan’s increasing diplomatic role on the global stage. Both nations expressed their intention to enhance bilateral relations, particularly focusing on trade, investment, and strengthening business connections. The Greek Foreign Minister also acknowledged the contributions of the Pakistani diaspora in Greece.
During their discussions, the two leaders exchanged views on various regional and global issues, including energy supply chain disruptions. They highlighted the critical need for unhindered maritime movement as part of their dialogue.
