Government Commits to Enhancing Housing for Workers’ Families, Says SAPM Sohrab


Islamabad, The Pakistani government is making significant strides towards improving the living conditions of workers’ families, with a special focus on housing facilities. Jawad Sohrab Malik, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, announced this commitment during the foundation-laying ceremony of various educational and housing projects in Muslim Bagh.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the government has earmarked 1.8 billion rupees for these projects, aimed at substantially raising the living standards of mine and industrial workers throughout the region. The initiatives include both educational facilities and housing projects, underscoring the government’s dedication to the welfare of its workforce.



SAPM Malik highlighted the urgency of accelerating the completion of these projects and the need to extend such initiatives to include smaller worker communities. This approach aims to ensure that the benefits of these developments are felt more quickly and widely among the worker population.



The government’s investment in these projects reflects a broader strategy to address the critical needs of workers and their families, signaling a promising step forward in enhancing the quality of life for this vital segment of the Pakistani population.
