Future Economy of Pakistan to Focus on Knowledge and Technology, Says Planning Minister

Topi: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal emphasized the need for Pakistan’s future economy to be driven by knowledge, technology, innovation, and exports. He made these remarks at the conclusion of the Digital Design and Verification Training Programme 2026 held at the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted the importance of empowering the country’s youth to transform their knowledge and education into modern technological solutions. He urged them to focus on taking Pakistani products to global markets. Iqbal also praised GIKI for its significant contribution in developing high-quality human capital for Pakistan.
