Foolproof Security Assured for Christmas Celebrations in Punjab, Announces IG

Karachi, In a significant meeting held at the Central Police Office, Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, assured the Christian community of comprehensive security measures for the upcoming Christmas celebrations. This meeting, which included prominent members of the Christian community and police officials, was a demonstration of the close collaboration between the community and law enforcement for ensuring a peaceful holiday season.

According to Punjab Police, the meeting was attended by a delegation of the Christian community led by Reverender Dr. Khalid M. Naz, Chairman of Peace Mission International Church. The delegation also included Peter Niamat, Inspector Shahid Masih, Naeem, and Aman. Regional Police Officer (RPO) Multan, Captain (Retired) Sohail Chaudhry, was also present. The gathering marked the upcoming Christmas and the birth anniversary of Hazrat Issa A.S. with a ceremonial cake cutting.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized the integral role of the Christian community, officers, and officials in the Punjab Police, describing them as vital assets. He highlighted that special functions will be organized for Christian employees in all police lines and offices across the province. Dr. Anwar reiterated the commitment of the Punjab Police to provide foolproof security at Christmas programs and Christian places of worship throughout Punjab.

Further, Dr. Anwar mentioned the exceptional services provided by the Meesaq centers of Punjab Police to Christian citizens in all districts, including Lahore. The meeting concluded with Dr. Khalid M. Naz presenting bouquets to both IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and RPO Multan Captain (Retired) Sohail Chaudhry, symbolizing the mutual respect and cooperation between the police and the Christian community.
