Srinagar, Indian police have detained five youths in the Kupwara district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in a move that has drawn attention to the region’s tense security situation.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the individuals arrested include Zahoor Ahmad Butt, Khursheed Ahmad Rather, Mudassir Shafiq, Ghulam Sarwar Rather, and Qazi Fazal Illahi. The arrests occurred in the Karnah area of the district. The police have categorized these youths as members of mujahid organizations, a label used to justify their detention.
