Surab: Eighteen terrorists associated with Fitna Al Hindustan were killed in Balochistan’s Surab District, in an incident involving a premature explosion and subsequent military operations.
According to Radio Pakistan, an under-preparation Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Device detonated prematurely while being assembled by the terrorists, resulting in the confirmed death of eight individuals and injuring multiple others. The blast also led to secondary detonations of other explosives, causing casualties among three nearby civilians.
In response, security forces and Balochistan Police promptly arrived at the scene, initiating a joint clearance operation to apprehend those responsible and their facilitators. During this operation, security forces detected and engaged fleeing terrorists, neutralizing ten more. During the exchange of fire, two soldiers sustained injuries.
Sanitization operations are ongoing in the area to ensure the removal of any remaining threats. The counter-terrorism initiative, part of the Azm-e-Istehkam vision under the National Action Plan, continues its efforts to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan.
