ISLAMABAD: DIG Security Rana Umer Farooq visited various duty points in Islamabad’s Red Zone to assess and review the security measures in place.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the DIG engaged with officers stationed at different locations, emphasizing the need for responsibility and vigilance in their duties. He instructed the personnel to conduct thorough checks on suspicious vehicles, motorcycles, and individuals, and to rigorously enforce security protocols. Immediate action was advised against any suspicious activity.
The safety of the Red Zone was highlighted as a top priority, with directives for officers to remain alert and prepared for emergencies. The DIG also stressed the importance of treating citizens with respect and maintaining a balance between security and public convenience, to ensure a safe environment for all.
