Islamabad: The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Law & Order/Training, Muhammad Ateeq Tahir, has taken decisive steps to address grievances among police officers in Islamabad, following directives from Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The actions aim to prioritize the well-being and professional concerns of the officers.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the DIG held an orderly room session in his office, which was attended by officers from the Law & Order/Training division. During the session, the officers presented both personal and official issues, prompting immediate directives from the DIG to re-evaluate serious cases and prioritize the resolution of other matters.

The DIG also highlighted several welfare initiatives aimed at supporting police officers, including improved housing, access to better medical facilities, and enhancements in educational standards. He assured officers of an open-door policy for addressing any issues and emphasized collaboration for the city’s betterment.
