ISLAMABAD: Deutsche Bank has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to Pakistan, with plans to expand its offerings in corporate and investment banking within the country. This was announced at a meeting between Deutsche Bank’s Regional CEO Jamal Al Kishi and Pakistan’s Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.
According to Radio Pakistan, Jamal Al Kishi expressed the bank’s intention to increase its involvement in Pakistan and enhance its market presence. The move is seen as a strategic effort to bolster the bank’s investment portfolio and strengthen financial ties with Pakistan.
Finance Minister Aurangzeb welcomed Deutsche Bank’s continued interest and support, highlighting the importance of international financial collaboration to drive investment, enhance financial market depth, and contribute to Pakistan’s economic growth. Deutsche Bank’s Country Manager Pakistan, Ali Haider Zaidi, also attended the meeting.
