Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar visited the Embassy of Nepal in Islamabad to express condolences for the victims of recent floods and landslides in Nepal. During his visit, he signed the Condolence Book and conveyed his sympathies to the affected families, reaffirming Pakistan’s solidarity with the Nepalese government and its people.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar emphasized the severe impact of climate change on the region, citing its detrimental effects on lives, livelihoods, and infrastructure. He offered prayers for the deceased, wished for the swift recovery of the injured, and expressed hope for the safety of those still missing.

The Deputy Prime Minister also reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to assist Nepal in its relief and recovery efforts, underscoring Pakistan’s willingness to provide any necessary support to help mitigate the aftermath of the natural disaster.
