LAHORE: Members of the Provincial Assembly from Sargodha met with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, expressing their support for recent development initiatives in the region. The assembly members commended the chief minister for the swift establishment and completion of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology and the introduction of an electric bus service in Sargodha.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the meeting included Provincial Minister Sohaib Ahmad Malik and other lawmakers who acknowledged the impact of the development projects on local communities. Chief Minister Nawaz announced the provision of seven additional electric buses for Sargodha and directed the lawmakers to oversee the Model Village, Suthra Punjab Programme, and clean drinking water projects closely.

The assembly members reported positive public feedback on various ongoing initiatives and highlighted the widespread benefits of the electric bus service, which serves several areas including Bhalwal, Bhera, and Tehsil Sahiwal. They praised the cardiology institute as a significant achievement and noted that the welfare projects were gaining appreciation both nationally and internationally.

Chief Minister Nawaz expressed satisfaction with the developments, particularly the comfort provided to women and children using the electric buses. She emphasized the commitment to development across Punjab, aligning with Nawaz Sharif’s vision of equitable progress.
