New York: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has condemned the ongoing illegal settlement activities and settler violence in the Occupied West Bank. Speaking at the Ministerial Meeting of the Group of Eight Arab-Islamic Countries, Dar addressed the continued tensions in the region and emphasized the need for adherence to international resolutions.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the importance of rejecting attempts to alter the historical status of revered sites. He expressed concern over ceasefire violations and the loss of lives in Gaza, calling for the full implementation of the Gaza Peace Plan and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803. Dar reiterated Pakistan’s support for a sovereign Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
