Mumbai: Zeeshan Siddique, the son of Nationalist Congress Party leader Baba Siddique, and renowned Bollywood actor Salman Khan have received death threats.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the threats emerged in the aftermath of Baba Siddique’s assassination by individuals associated with the Bishnoi gang. The fatal shooting occurred outside Siddique’s office during Dusshera celebrations on October 12, just weeks before the threats were reported.

Zeeshan Siddique had recently transitioned to the Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party faction after his expulsion from the Congress party. The police have apprehended 15 suspects in connection with Baba Siddique’s murder. Investigations revealed that a Bishnoi gang member claimed Siddique was targeted because of his close association with Salman Khan.
