Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday, underscoring the need for continued focus on foreign policy priorities as she concluded her tenure.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Foreign Secretary provided a briefing to the Deputy Prime Minister on the key areas addressed during her tenure, as well as ongoing diplomatic engagements and priority issues that require ongoing attention. Dar highlighted the necessity of maintaining continuity and momentum in these areas.
He instructed senior officers to ensure close coordination and effective follow-up on current engagements and priorities, with an emphasis on advancing Pakistan’s foreign policy objectives and national interests.
