Lahore: An important meeting was convened at the Head Office under the leadership of Commissioner Social Security Zulfiqar Ali Kharal to assess the performance of the Directorate of Social Security Faisalabad West. The meeting, attended by Director Faisalabad West, Area Officers, Vice Commissioner Tauqeer Ilyas Cheema, and other relevant officers, focused on reviewing contribution targets, the recovery of Workers’ Welfare Funds, and the progress of the Ration Card initiative.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Commissioner Kharal was briefed on the registration of new industrial and commercial units in Faisalabad West and the recovery of outstanding dues from defaulter establishments. Discussions included strategies to expand Social Security coverage by incorporating new establishments and workers.

Commissioner Kharal emphasized that recovery targets must be met using all available resources. He directed that efforts to recover outstanding dues should be intensified and the registration process of establishments expedited. Special measures were instructed to improve the recovery of Workers’ Welfare Funds, and the officers were urged to advance the Ration Card initiative as per specified targets.

Kharal highlighted that negligence in achieving contribution targets would not be tolerated and stressed that performance improvement and recovery target achievement should remain a priority. He warned that any corruption or malpractice complaints would result in accountability for the officers and the concerned Director.
