Chief Minister Punjab Orders Inquiry into Fatal Bus Accident in Rawalpindi


LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the death of a minor girl who was struck by a Green Bus in Rawalpindi. The incident has prompted an official inquiry and a demand for accountability from local authorities.



According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the chief minister expressed grief over the incident and has requested a detailed report from the Rawalpindi commissioner. The chief minister described the occurrence as “extremely painful” and emphasized that those responsible for the incident will be held accountable.
