Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Expresses Solidarity with Grieving Mother in Lahore

Lahore, In a heartfelt display of empathy and leadership, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited a grieving mother to share her pain and offer condolences. The emotional meeting saw the bereaved mother break down in tears as she recounted the loss of her daughter, revealing the hardships and injustices her family faced.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the victim’s mother shared with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz the sorrow of her daughter’s departure, stating, “My daughter went away crying; the oppressors did not allow her to meet us. Ayesha took care of everyone and worked to pay off debts.” In response, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, herself a mother, expressed her deep understanding of the grieving mother’s pain, assuring her of the government’s support and solace during this difficult time.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif took immediate action, instructing Provincial Minister Sohib Bharat to maintain close communication with the victim’s family and address their concerns. Additionally, she was informed by police officials that two individuals accused of harming the innocent girl had been apprehended. Sharif directed that the case against the accused be diligently pursued to ensure justice for the victim and her family.

The meeting was attended by Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Provincial Ministers Khawaja Salman Rafiq, Khawaja Imran Nazir, Soheb Bharath, along with the Chief Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner, RPO, Deputy Commissioner, and other officials, highlighting the Punjab government’s commitment to supporting the affected family and addressing the issue of violence against women.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s personal visit and her directives to ensure justice and support for the grieving family underscore her administration’s dedication to the welfare of its citizens, particularly in times of tragedy and loss.
