Chairman Senate Launches Balloting for Free Hajj Facility for Senate Employees


Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani inaugurated the balloting for a free Hajj facility for two employees of the Senate Secretariat. The facility is sponsored by Senator Amir Waliuddin Chishti for employees in BPS-01 to BPS-07.



According to Senate of Pakistan, the ceremony took place at the Senator Service Centre, Parliament House, Islamabad, with attendance from Senator Syed Masroor Ahsan, Senator Rahat Jamali, Senator Amir Waliuddin Chishti, Secretary Senate Syed Hasnain Haider, and other officials and employees.



Chairman Gilani emphasized the significance of Hajj, describing it as a fundamental pillar of Islam and an act of worship cherished by Muslims. He congratulated the selected employees and extended his best wishes for their journey. He also praised Senator Chishti for his sponsorship, highlighting the initiative as a supportive gesture for the Senate Secretariat’s lower-grade employees.



Senator Amir Waliuddin Chishti further contributed Rs. one million to the Senate Employees Welfare Fund, reiterating his commitment to employee welfare.
