RIYADH, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has asserted that Kashmiris possess the inherent right to decide their future and destiny, emphasizing Pakistan’s unwavering diplomatic and political support for this stance.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in his exclusive interview with the Anadolu news agency, Prime Minister Kakar stressed the urgent need to resolve the long-standing Kashmir issue for the normalization of relations between Pakistan and India.
Additionally, Kakar called for an immediate end to hostilities in Gaza and the creation of a humanitarian corridor to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of essential supplies such as food and medicine to the Palestinian people. He expressed concern about the potential regional and global repercussions of the ongoing crisis in Gaza.
The Prime Minister also mentioned Pakistan’s participation in an upcoming special session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Currently in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the OIC summit scheduled for the following day, he expressed hope that the summit would address the prevailing situations and formulate a unified response from the Muslim world.
