ISLAMABAD: The body of Dr. Asma Mushtaq, a climber who had gone missing during an expedition, has reportedly been located beyond Camp III, according to the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar. The minister announced that the search and rescue team is currently assessing the site conditions and is in the process of finalizing arrangements for a safe recovery and evacuation of the body to Base Camp.
According to Radio Pakistan, the operation is being conducted with careful consideration of the high-altitude terrain and the inherent risks involved in such a recovery. The search and rescue team is working to ensure that the evacuation is controlled and conducted safely, given the challenging environment beyond Camp III where the body was discovered.
