Islamabad, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Ms. Rubina Khalid, has led a series of virtual meetings with Zonal Directors-General and other key staff to oversee the preparations for the upcoming Kafaalat tranche payments across Pakistan. The meetings focused on ensuring that the program’s support reaches its beneficiaries efficiently and respectfully.
According to Press Information Department, Chairperson Khalid reiterated BISP’s commitment to serving the needy with integrity and called for high standards in service delivery. She outlined strict directives against any deductions from beneficiaries’ stipends and emphasized the necessity of providing adequate facilities at payment campsites, including shelters, seating, and clean drinking water.
Khalid also highlighted the importance of treating beneficiaries, particularly women, with dignity and directed that lady police officers be deployed at payment sites to manage crowds and prevent any mishaps. The meetings underscored an organizational drive towards enhancing the transparency and efficiency of the BISP’s operations, with regional directors from all provinces affirming their commitment to these goals.
