Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh Promotes Trade Cooperation at Indiana Textile Firm


Chicago: The Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, visited Calderon Textiles in Indiana as part of his initiative to bolster economic and community ties within the state.



According to Press Information Department, Calderon Textiles, a prominent supplier of textile solutions to the hospitality and healthcare industries, hosted Ambassador Sheikh at their headquarters and distribution center. During his visit, he was briefed on the company’s operations, including its warehousing facilities, nationwide supply network, and commercial engagement with Pakistan.



Ambassador Sheikh acknowledged the longstanding business relationship between Calderon Textiles and Pakistan, highlighting that the company sources a significant portion of its textile products from Pakistani manufacturers. He stated that this partnership exemplifies the quality and reliability of Pakistan’s textile industry and is a model of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two nations.



The Ambassador reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to expanding bilateral trade and attracting foreign investment through economic reforms and a transparent, business-friendly policy framework. He emphasized the importance of strengthening business linkages to create new commercial opportunities, boost bilateral trade, encourage innovation, and promote job creation, thereby enhancing the economic partnership between Pakistan and the United States.
