ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Privatization, Muhammad Ali, has emphasized the need for Pakistan to evolve into a growth-oriented economy. Speaking at the Leaders in Islamabad Business Summit, he outlined the importance of considering the country’s future over the next 25 years and called for development efforts to encompass both urban and rural areas.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ali highlighted the integral role of growth in achieving good governance. He underscored the necessity of strengthening Pakistan’s economic foundations, enhancing per capita income, and expanding economic resources. He urged continued efforts to improve growth and governance, aiming to shape a Pakistan that is markedly different from its current state.
