Islamabad, January 19, 2023 (PPI-OT):Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says a Special Project Cell will be established at the Ministry of Planning to take full advantage of international aid for flood victims. Chairing a review meeting on the implementation of decisions made in Geneva Conference in Islamabad today, he said aid for Pakistan has reached 10.9 billion dollars.

He said Pakistan’s reconstruction strategy was appreciated globally. He said Special Project unit will consist of the best professionals and experts. Reiterating government’s resolve to ensure transparency in international aid projects, the Minister said third party audit will be ensured. He said projects will immediately be started with the collaboration of provincial governments.
