ISLAMABAD: Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani engaged in separate discussions today with former federal ministers Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and Azam Khan Swati, both affiliated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), focusing on the country’s political and law and order situation.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meetings addressed a range of issues currently facing the nation. In addition to these discussions, Gilani also received a delegation of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) representatives from South Punjab. The delegation, which included Barrister Mudasir Shah, Imdad Ullah Abbasi, and Zaman Langrial, briefed the Acting President on concerns specific to their regions.
Following these engagements, Ali Umar Alvi also met with Acting President Gilani to discuss matters of mutual interest.
