Security Forces Neutralize 15 Khwarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Operations

Dera Ismail Khan: Security forces in Pakistan have successfully neutralized fifteen Khwarij operatives in two strategic operations within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, according to official reports. These operations reflect ongoing efforts to eliminate threats posed by the Khwarij in the region.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the first operation was intelligence-based and took place in the Hathala area of Dera Ismail Khan district. Security forces engaged the targeted location, resulting in the elimination of nine Khwarij terrorists, including key leaders. These individuals were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist activities and were among the most sought-after by law enforcement agencies.

The second operation occurred in the Miran Shah area of North Waziristan district, where six Khwarij members were killed. The operation, however, witnessed intense exchanges of fire, leading to the death of Lieutenant Muhammad Hassan Ashraf, who was leading his troops. Three other soldiers also lost their lives in the encounter.

Security forces continue to conduct sanitization operations in the area to ensure the complete eradication of any remaining Khwarij elements. The operations underscore Pakistan’s commitment to counter-terrorism efforts and the sacrifices made by its military personnel in pursuit of national security.
