Peshawar: Youm-e-Tashakur was observed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday, showcasing the federal government’s relief initiatives. The event aimed to underline the progress and reforms undertaken by the government, drawing attention to economic improvements and investment opportunities.

In Peshawar, Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam addressed a public gathering. He noted a significant influx of foreign investors, attributed to the efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

Muqam highlighted a record increase in remittances, citing it as evidence of public trust in the government’s reform agenda. He further reported a notable reduction in inflation, dropping from thirty-eight percent to a single-digit figure within a year.

The Minister emphasized the opportunities being provided to the youth through the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, designed to foster development and growth among young people.

Additionally, revised agreements with Independent Power Producers have resulted in substantial savings, amounting to approximately four thousand billion rupees, according to Muqam.
