Prominent Cleric Agha Syed Abdul Baqi Rizvi Passes Away at 90


Srinagar: Agha Syed Abdul Baqi Rizvi, a prominent cleric and the custodian of Astana Haji Syed Hassan in Nabdipora, Srinagar, has passed away in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He was 90.



Agha Rizvi was a respected religious figure within the Kashmir community, known for his commitment to religious and social causes. He provided guidance to the community, especially during challenging times.



He is survived by four sons and a daughter. He was also the father-in-law of Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari, a senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference.



Agha Rizvi’s funeral will take place at his ancestral graveyard, Baba Mazar, Zadibal, later today.
