KARACHI: Youm-e-Ashur, the tenth day of Muharram-ul-Haram, will be observed nationwide on Friday with solemnity to honor the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain Razi Allah ho Ta’ala Anho and his companions in Karbala. Mourning processions are scheduled in cities and towns across the country.
According to Radio Pakistan, religious scholars and orators will discuss the teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain and various aspects of the Karbala tragedy during the observance. Concurrently, mourning processions are underway today to mark the 9th of Muharram, paying tribute to the martyrs of Karbala.
Taazia and Zuljanah processions are being conducted to commemorate the martyrs and emphasize their sacrifice for Islam. Authorities have implemented extensive security measures to ensure safety during the Muharram-ul-Haram observances.
