Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet has given the green light to several Technical Supplementary Grants and Sectoral Support Measures totaling billions of rupees. These approvals were made during a meeting chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.
According to Radio Pakistan, the ECC sanctioned 3.289 billion rupees for the Ministry of Defence and 5.411 billion rupees for the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication. Additionally, a 600 million rupees Technical Supplementary Grant was approved for the Ministry of Maritime Affairs to implement a Vessel Monitoring System on fishing boats throughout Pakistan.
