Synoptic Situation
A westerly wave is affecting western and upper parts and likely to intensify upper parts on Sunday and Monday.
Saturday
Cloudy weather is expected in western and upper parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm (snowfall over the hills) is expected in north Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.
Sunday
Rain-wind/thunderstorm (snowfall over the hills) is expected in Islamabad, Pothohar region, North East Punjab, North Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Hailstorm is also expected at isolated places during the period.
Past 24 Hour Weather
Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in upper parts and north Balochistan. Rainfall (mm): Quetta and Mastung 01.
