Synoptic Situation

Strong monsoon currents are likely to start reaching upper parts of the country from Sunday (evening/night) and may persist till Wednesday.

Sunday

Hot and humid weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Islamabad, Pothohar region, upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, south eastern Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Isolated heavy falls are also expected during the period.

Monday

Rain-thundershower associated with gusty winds is expected in Islamabad, upper/central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Heavy/torrential rain is also expected at scattered places in upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir during the period.

Past 24 Hour Weather

Weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country. However, rain/thundershower occurred in Gawadar and Quetta. Rainfall (mm): Balochistan: Gawadar 04, Quetta 03. Today’s Highest Maximum Temperature’s (°C): Chillas 46, Bhakkar, Okara, Nokkundi, Sibbi 45 and Jacobabad 44.
