Jammu, In the Rajouri district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, a man suffered a fatal heart attack after being swindled out of a significant sum of money by an immigration agent promising a visa.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Adil Din from the Darhal area became a victim of a visa scam that cost him Rs 5 lakh. Following the financial loss, Din suffered a heart attack that led to his death.
The incident unfolded when Din entrusted a local resident, Manzoor Hussain, with Rs 5 lakh in December 2023 for arranging a Kuwait visa. Hussain assured Din of the visa but subsequently absconded to Saudi Arabia with the money. This betrayal and financial loss precipitated the heart attack that claimed Din’s life.
The family of Adil Din, now grappling with the loss, has registered a complaint at the Darhal Police Station against Hussain. They seek justice for the fraudulent act that led to this tragic outcome.
