Videos of Arms Training by Right-Wing Group in Karnataka Prompt Investigation

Bagalkot: The Sri Ram Sene, a right-wing Hindutva group, is under police investigation following the circulation of videos showing a five-day arms training camp in Karnataka’s Bagalkot district.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the event took place from December 25 to 29 in Todalbagi village and reportedly featured gun training on its final day. The revelation has raised concerns about the nature and intentions of the training conducted by the group.

Bagalkot Superintendent of Police Amarnath Reddy confirmed the inquiry into the incident, stating that authorities are investigating the types of arms used, whether firearms or airguns. “Appropriate action will follow if any illegal activity is detected,” he noted.

The Sri Ram Sene had previously announced plans to conduct “physical training” camps, but this recent event has triggered scrutiny over the group’s activities and objectives. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities seek to determine the legality of the actions and the potential implications for public safety.
